Pet Toy Boxes or Small Pet Beds
Our pet toy box was originally made for just that, a box to hold all those toys our pets seem to collect. But Sugar, one of my Shih Tzus decided it was a nice place to sleep, so we made a couple more and placed them in different areas and now Patti, Booboo and Sugar can often be found in one of them. I use big fluffy *towels for bedding as my dogs like to scratch and make their beds just the way they want it. Using towels makes it easier on me as all I have to do is toss them in the washing machine. Both cats and dogs like the den feeling they get when inside and they feel safe, secure and protected when they snuggle up for sleep. Takes them back to the deep memories they have of nesting in their lair. Another design feature is that the box interior is still accessible even with the lid down. Small pets can still get their toys out or go inside to sleep. Pet owners appreciate how it makes the area look nice and neat. *Towels: Please note that I use towels with low piles so that my pets cannot catch their toenails in the large loops.
